The MA Program in Sociology has two application deadlines for fall admissions - early and regular. Graduate assistantship applications that are not approved during the early application period may be rolled over into the regular assistantship application pool for further consideration. If assistantships are available after the early admissions and assistantship decision period has passed, late applications may be considered.
· Students applying for graduate assistantships must submit their applications by February 15 preceding the fall semester in which the applicant intends to enroll.
· Early program admissions and assistantship decisions will be made by March 15.
· Regular program applications are accepted up to May 30th preceding the fall semester in which the applicant intends enrollment.
· Regular program applications will be reviewed and admissions decisions made no later than June 30th.
· On a limited basis, we will review applications for spring admissions. Applicants interested in spring admissions should contact the Graduate Director before submitting their application materials.
