Elizabeth Miller named 2008 Bernice Jones Outstanding Graduate Student
Congratulations to Elizabeth Miller for being awarded the 2008 Bernice Jones Outstanding Graduate Student award. Elizabeth will be defending her thesis on her work on homelessness in Northwest Arkansas on April 25th .
She recently had her first paper accepted for publication with Dr. Fitzpatrick in Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior, the official journal of the American Society of Suicidology. She is presenting the work from her thesis at the ASA’s this summer in Boston and will be packing her bags to accept an assistantship package from the University of Oregon where she will be working on her Ph.D. in Sociology. Again, congratulations Elizabeth and best of luck.
