Research Interests:
Dr. Fitzpatrick’s service to the Jones Center for Families and as a board member of the Seven Hills Homeless Shelter, the Northwest Arkansas Housing Coalition, and the Washington County Task Force on Health Gaps in the Marshallese Community reflect an ongoing interest in the problems of homelessness, mental health and broad family issues both locally and nationally. As director of the Community and Family Institute, he is currently working on a project funded by the Walton Family Foundation in a quality-of-life assessment of Northwest Arkansas.
